Instructions

  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Sauté the sliced mushrooms and chopped parsley for 5 minutes.
  • Stir constantly for 2 minutes after adding the flour to the pot.
  • Pour in the chicken broth gradually, stirring constantly, until the mixture is smooth.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce to a low heat and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Continue to simmer for 10 minutes after adding heavy cream.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
